   watching the movie will definitely help you for this strip. There’s an iconic scene where a kid uses his power to bend a spoon. I thought it was random but kinda cool

   I was a bit lost when I first read this strip… now I barely remember there are kids with ESP who bend spoons in the Matrix movie. I’ve only watched the movie once.

   One day this boy would grow up to wear blue spandex and cry his serenade call of justice over a City plagued with mothmen and pop-culture references. SPOOON!!! (I wanted to make a joke reference but didn’t want it to be obvious)
