Not really funny, just nostalgic. Does anyone remember this game, 7th Saga?

I remember that game. I think I chose and played as the robot, and had the elf on my team. It had potential but I didn’t play it long. Fun to revisit though. Thanks for posting it. Long intro! Enjoyed the old music.
Yes, my thoughts exactly! I’m pretty sure I had elf on my team also. I remember devoting a decent amount of time to it, but I never quite saw it through till the end. I don’t remember what was lacking about it, but it did have potential. Just one of those “lost” games on the list of could-have-beens, you know?
How could I have missed an Enix RPG? But it looks familiar… I vaguely remember the radar on the upper left and how I was trying to avoid encountering monsters… hmmm…
I think this calls for some emulation-based investigation the next time you visit.
